Advancing the commercialization process

After the Initial Investment phase is completed, further capital provided by investors will be used to bring in experience and develop promising portfolio companies. Experience has shown that a successful development process and its commercial viability is the result of active efforts by knowledgeable individuals during the early stages of the development of a company.

For each portfolio company, LU Bio intends to appoint a working group whose task, together with an externally recruited Managing Director, will be to advance the commercialization process in a professional manner. It is important to note that the inventors are included in this group in order to take advantage of their specialist and scientific knowledge.

A short description of two of LU Bio's portfolio companies that are now up and running is given in the next section. Several different projects are currently being evaluated by LU Bio to determine their potential.
