Cantargia is developing a conceptually new therapy for hematologic malignancies (leukemia), based on the original discovery that certain leukemia stem cells express a specific cell-surface receptor, whereas corresponding normal hematopoietic stem cells do not express this receptor. This receptor is used as a target for development of a new antibody based therapy.

Product: Novel therapeutic antibody targeting “Interleukin 1 Receptor Associated Protein” (IL1RAP).

Concept: Killing of leukemia stem cells by antibody binding to IL1RAP activating ADCC.

Stage: Pre CD

LU Bio position: 55,8 %

Partners: LU Bio and inventors
