Anders Vedin, Chairman

Born 1942.
Anders Vedin has had leading positions in Göteborg University, Astra AB and Chalmers University of Technology. Multiple past and present directorships, presently chairman, Emilion AB, Cellartis AB, Recepticon (Denmark), Vedicus AB and member of the board of Santosolve A/S (Norway). Member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Pia Althin

Born 1944.
Entrepreneur with deep insight in the med tech industry. Initiator and COO of Althin Academy in Miami, Florida. Chairman in KUDU AB and member of the Board of Kretia AB, Henry Ståhl AB.

Lars Backsell

Born 1952.
Mr Backsell has more than 20 years experience from bioscience related industries and has held positions as Sales Director Coloplast A/S, Head of Business Area OTC at Pharmacia AB and CEO of Recip AB. Also founder and Chairman of Recipharm AB and Chairman of Excecutive Business Counsil IVA.

Conny Bogentoft 

Born 1943.
Responsible for developing Karolinska Institute´s innovation system. CEO and Investment Manager in Karolinska Development I and II. More than 30 years experience of drug development.
Leading positions in Astra/Astra Zeneca. CEO for Kabi Invent, CSO for Aco Läkemedel.

Lennart Hansson

Born 1956.
Investment Director Life Scienses at Industrifonden. Formerly in executive positions at KabiGen, Symbicom and AstraZeneca, CEO at Arexis and investment manager at Karolinska Development.  

Karin Lind-Mörnesten

Born 1957.
CEO of  Swecare, a foundation where academia, public and private sector join forces toward enhanced export and internationalization of Swedish health care and life science. Member of the Investment Committee of Östersjöstiftelsen and board member of Hälsohögskolan Jönköping.  

Lars Ljungälv

Born 1969. 
Executive vice president and Head of the southern region at Swedbank AB. CEO at Färs & Frosta Sparbank AB (1999-2007). Director of the board of Lund University. 

Mats Pårup

Born 1951.
VP Global IP and member of the R&D Management Board at Astra and AstraZeneca (1992-2002). Head of Global IP at Novartis (2003-2008). Chairman and other positions (IP) within the international and European pharmaceutical industry associations
